About the Author
Alphonso “Fonz” Newsuan is the Founder and Executive Director of Movement Community Development Corporation (MCDC) in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Through MCDC, he has helped secure over $1.5 million in grant funding to rehabilitate homes at no cost to homeowners and has awarded more than $63,000 in scholarships to local students pursuing college or trade school. He spearheaded the First-Time Homebuyers Program and launched credit repair initiatives, both offered at no cost to participants. He has also provided leadership to New Life in Christ Fellowship's mentoring program, the T.I.M.S. Ministry.

Widely known as the host of City Town Talk, a long-running, community-focused talk show, Alphonso uses his platform to highlight positive stories, promote education, and strengthen unity throughout the city.
